Zerno is an interactive audiovisual installation: you play, and worlds are born. Its algorithm catches the seed of a motif, the beginning of a musical thought, and from that seed a landscape grows. Nothing is scored, so there is no wrong way to start. A single gesture ripples outward into a whole world, and what you leave behind stays in the landscape for the next person who plays. The visual system is developed in collaboration with Sound Palette Inc.
Artist Bio:
Dorraa (Daria Morgacheva) is a Toronto musician, educator and installation artist. At MULTIFEST she brings Zerno, an interactive audiovisual installation where you play and worlds are born. Nothing is scored, so there is no wrong way to start.
