COMEBACK


Introducing COMEBACK: a festival of community and a celebration of the city’s culture.

stackt market, a recent winner of Fast Company’s Innovation by Design award, is proud to announce COMEBACK: a three-day festival highlighting the intersection of hospitality, art, music, local businesses and the community that have stuck together to survive through COVID-19.

To accompany its roster of local vendors and small businesses, stackt is collaborating with some of the city’s top curators in music, culinary, art, and entertainment to bring COMEBACK to life. COMEBACK will include:

♦ A local music showcase curated by School Night featuring Texas King, Deanna Petcoff, Loviet, The High Loves, 3409, Big Jacks and Witch Prophet. [TICKETED - GET HERE]

Culinary agency Quell will present a pop-up restaurant experience featuring star BIPOC chefs Master Chef Canada’s Marissa Leon-John and Globe and Mail’s list of “Canada’s Next Star Chef’s” for 2020, Bashir Munye, presenting dishes focused on food indigeneity + locality. [TICKETED - GET HERE]

♦ An exclusive art gallery exhibition and immersive experience by Cry Baby Gallery will fill The North Hall Gallery space with bold works of art by local Toronto artists.

♦ Mental health advocates The Sad Collective will be hosting a portrait studio series focused on mental health visibility and emotional expression.

♦ A full-city block of local business pop-ups with a daily vendor village of 20+ booths + over 25+ residential shipping container storefronts to explore.

General Entry to COMEBACK is free. The music and food showcases are ticketed events and are first come, first serve. For the music showcase, proof of vaccination, along with valid photo ID (including full name + date of birth) is required.

COVID-19 PUBLIC POLICY

We’re looking forward to welcoming you at stackt market for COMEBACK. The health and safety of our guests, staff and vendors is paramount and that is why we are implementing the following measures for our event.

In conjunction with our health services provider, we have carefully considered all health and safety protocols to ensure that you can participate safely. This includes COVID pre-screening for staff, suppliers and vendors, sanitization points, encouraged physical distancing throughout the site, as well as enforcing mask wearing where necessary. Please note these measures may be modified according to ongoing changes to public health regulations.

BEFORE ARRIVING ONSITE

Any participant experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, who has been in contact with someone who has tested positive, or has received a positive test for COVID-19, should not come to stackt market or attend COMEBACK

Symptoms of the Delta variant differ from the original COVID-19 virus. If you are unsure if your symptoms indicate the need for a test, the province offers a self assessment tool - https:// covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/

All our staff, vendors and onsite suppliers will complete a self-assessment daily before arriving on site. The screening will be conducted via the HealthQ app with records being maintained by our health services provider.

UPON ARRIVAL ONSITE

All of our staff, vendors and suppliers will wear masks at all times. For our guests, we do recommend wearing a mask where distancing is not possible.

In order to avoid unnecessary contact, we ask you to respect physical distancing wherever possible. Please follow the markers provided around the site, especially while waiting in line and respect one-way traffic where it is implemented. When eating or drinking please stay with your group.

Guests who have General Admission tickets to the music stage or are attending a class at The Studio are required to be fully vaccinated. Your vaccination receipt, as well as proof of ID is required for access.

Acceptable forms of ID are as follows:

- Birth certificate

- Citizenship card

- Driver’s license

- Government (Ontario or other) issued identification card, including health card

- Indian Status Card /Indigenous Membership Card

- Passport

- Permanent Resident card

Exemptions apply to the following:

- Children under 12 years of age.

- Patrons who provide a written document, completed and supplied by a physician (designated as “MD”) or by a registered nurse in the extended class (designated as “Registered Nurse (Extended Class)”, “RN(EC)”, “Nurse Practitioner” or “NP”) stating that the individual is exempt for a medical reason from being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and the effective time-period for the medical reason. Patrons with a medical exemption are required to present identification and a written document stating the individual is exempt for a medical reason to the business or organization.

Sanitizer stations will be available throughout the site and high touch areas will be cleaned throughout the day. These measures are in place to protect you and comply with public health regulations. We consider it essential for everyone to have safe access to social events, please help us to safeguard the well-being of all guests.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

Guests at COMEBACK must show proof of identification and proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before they can enter the following areas, and stackt market is obliged to review and confirm proof of vaccination as per “the Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020 (ROA) O. Reg. 364/20” :

- General Admission section at the Music Stage

- The Studio

Exemptions where the requirements for proof of identification and proof of vaccination against COVID-19 requirements under O. Reg 364/20 do not apply to:

- Workers, contractors, repair workers, delivery workers, students, volunteers, inspectors or others who are entering the business or organization for work purposes and not as patrons.

- A patron who is entering an indoor area solely for the following purposes:

- To use a washroom

- To access an outdoor area that can only be accessed through an indoor route

- To make a retail purchase

- While placing or picking up an order, including placing a bet or picking up winnings in the case of a horse racing track

- While paying for an order

- To purchase admission

As may be necessary for the purposes of health and safety. All other public health measures (e.g., masking and physical distancing) continue to apply to patrons.

PROVING IDENTITY

stackt requires the vaccination receipt and (1) a piece of identification.

Validation of identification must be undertaken to ensure that the vaccination receipt offered by the patron belongs to them. Validation of vaccination passport will be based on two key identifiers:

- Name of the identification holder; and

- Date of birth

A photo identification is not required.

Proof of identity can be established using documentation issued by an institution or public body, provided it includes the name of the holder and date of birth. Examples of identification documents that may be used to confirm the identity of the holder of the vaccine receipt include:

- Birth certificate

- Citizenship card

- Driver’s licence

- Government (Ontario or other) issued identification card, including health card

- Indian Status Card /Indigenous Membership Card

- Passport

- Permanent Resident card
