AACT presents inter-grit studios’ vigor in a zipper, an experimental dance-media performance

Live by inter-grit studios, this performance investigates corporeal experiences of time displacement. Together, we explore the body as a zipper, unravelling how the body cares for/manages stress, pain, and even relief through movement; interweaving this idea of kinaesthetic in-betweenness through dance-technology and experimental sound. This work began as a documentary film, and within this performance, inter-grit explores delay, decay, be-longing, and collapse through live-remixing sound recordings and movement.
