We are thrilled to have Jennifer lead a morning of learning and discovery around healthy eating!! Everyone attending will have an opportunity to make something and experiment along the way.
An inspiring statement from Jennifer, one of the pioneers of the raw vegan movement in Toronto:
We’re all about plants and believe that the only way food should be processed is by the human body. We believe in teaching children from a young age the importance of eating a whole food, colourful diet. We’ll discuss the importance of eating the rainbow—kids especially should eat a lot of colourful fruits and veggies daily. We’ll teach the importance of eating a variety of colours making it fun and show quick & easy ways of incorporating more veggies and fruit into their diets. When kids are involved in making food they tend to want to eat or at least try it. Whether you want to start incorporating one plant based meal into their lunches once a week or have a meatless Monday at home, we hope to share some easy ways to make that possible. Let’s teach kids not to be afraid of their vegetables and that eating whole foods should not be punishment but part of their daily life.
Suitable for parents and kids 4 years old and up.
There will be a break in between the two experiences.
