Outside the Box is StreetARToronto’s (StART) flagship public art program, transforming Toronto’s traffic signal boxes into vibrant works of art since 2013. With more than 700 artist-designed installations across the city, these once-functional structures have become an ever-growing outdoor gallery woven into Toronto’s neighbourhoods. This September, discover the evolution of the program through a vibrant photography exhibition at North Hall Gallery. Join us for the Celebration Reception on Tuesday, September 22, to meet the artists and organizers, celebrate Toronto’s public art community, and learn how you can get involved in future editions of the program.
