Leaves of Legacy

Leaves of Legacy is an immersive public exhibition presented by DiversityTalk in recognition of Black History Month, in partnership with the Ontario Cannabis Store.

The exhibition explores the historical, cultural, and social legacy of cannabis across Black communities through curated installations, real artifacts, and educational storytelling grounded in public health.

Opening Night on February 25 (6:00-10:00 pm) will feature a guided exhibition tour, panel discussion, networking, small performances, and featured clips from Rasta’s Journey by Donisha Pendergast and Patricia Scarlett, alongside the launch of new work from the Institute for Sustainable Health and Social Impact and HipHopHealing. The exhibition remains open to the public from February 25–27.
