STACKT market continues to champion Toronto’s next generation of entrepreneurs through STACKTˣ, our program designed to give emerging brands the space to grow, connect with community, and bring new ideas to life. One of the businesses currently calling us home is V’s Bone Broth, a Toronto-based brand serving small-batch, slow-simmered bone broth rooted in family tradition and local ingredients.
Inside the STACKTx space at STACKT market, V’s Bone Broth has created a welcoming hub where visitors can discover the benefits of nourishing bone broth, connect with the founder, and experience a product built on authenticity, community, and wellness.

Tell us more about V’s Bone Broth. How did the idea first come to life and eventually find its home at STACKTˣ Toronto as a storefront grant winner?
I’ve been drinking bone broth my whole life! My mom has been making it for me since I was a
baby, so it was always a staple in our home growing up. When I moved out on my own, I stopped
drinking it for a while, but a couple years ago I started making it again as a way to kick-start my
health again.
Last year, I shared it on my personal Instagram story. A few friends and their moms started asking
about it. They told me the bone broth they were buying from stores did not taste good, so they
asked if they could try mine.
I dropped off a few samples for them, and shortly after they asked if they could buy it from me.
From there, word spread. More people started reaching out, asking for my broth. What started as
something I made for myself and my family quickly turned into something the community wanted
too.
Shortly after, I created a logo, launched an online store, and started our Instagram page… and
here we are today!
I’ve always loved STACKT. Even before becoming a vendor, I was a frequent visitor to its events
and markets. It’s a place that truly captures the spirit of Toronto. STACKT is a thoughtfully curated
hub where local businesses can share their products, talents, and creativity with the community.
Being part of a space that celebrates local entrepreneurship and brings people together feels
incredibly special, and it’s an environment that perfectly aligns with what we believe in.

Bone broth has deep roots in many cultures and family traditions. What inspired you to turn something so personal into a business you could share with the Toronto community?
Drinking bone broth was a holistic practice I grew up with—something my mom introduced and
carried on in our family. I feel that as we get older, we often become so wrapped up in life’s
responsibilities and challenges that we slowly lose sight of what truly matters. Returning to the
habit of making, drinking and sharing bone broth brought a sense of balance and health back into
my life.
For me, sharing a cup of bone broth is about much more than nourishment. Bringing this
business to Toronto represents community, meaningful connections, and remembering to slow
down and reconnect with your health and well-being. It’s also about “eating real and being real”.
By using high-quality, organic ingredients I source directly from local Ontario farmers, every cup
reflects our commitment to supporting our community and the land around us. The small, simple
things in life—like a warm, nourishing cup of broth—are often overlooked, but they truly form the
foundation of a healthy and fulfilling life. Our mission has always been simple: to help you feel
great, look better and live longer.
Your recipes come from your mother and your own culinary background. How have those influences shaped the flavours and approach behind V’s Bone Broth?
V’s Bone Broth is built on authenticity, connection, community, and health—values shaped by the
traditions I grew up with. The recipes and practices are passed down from my mom, forming the
heart and foundation of everything we do.
My culinary background also shapes our approach. I focus not just on the health benefits of bone
broth, but also on making it rich and flavorful, using high-quality, local ingredients. The goal is to
combine nutrition and taste, so every cup is as enjoyable as it is beneficial.
Many people are discovering bone broth for the first time. What do you think surprises people most when they try it?
Honestly, the biggest surprise for many people is just how delicious it is. A lot of people first hear
about bone broth because of its health benefits, but they don’t necessarily expect it to taste so
good. I focus on making our broths not only nourishing, but also delicious. Our broth is
something you can truly enjoy and crave for, and not just something you have to drink because
it’s healthy.
As someone who’s worked in Toronto’s restaurant scene, how does that experience influence the quality and flavour of what you create today?
My experience in Toronto’s restaurant scene shaped my appreciation for flavor and the overall
experience of what we consume. I am committed to supporting local. I work directly with my
organic grass-fed beef and pasture-raised chicken farmers. Every cup is crafted to be delicious,
sustainable and nourishing.
From the ingredients we source to the events and people we collaborate with, we prioritize only
those of the highest quality and those who share our values.

STACKT is known for bringing together creative entrepreneurs and small brands. What has it been like building V’s Bone Broth with STACKTˣ?
Building V’s Bone Broth at STACKT has been an incredible experience. It’s allowed me to carve
out a little VBB haven right in the heart of Toronto—a space where people can gather, connect,
and experience what we’re all about.
Being part of a community of creative entrepreneurs and small brands makes it feel even more
special. There’s a real sense of support, collaboration, and energy at STACKT, and for us, it
honestly feels like a home base for V’s Bone Broth.
STACKT’s all about making space – for creativity, connection, and culture. What’s your perfect day at STACKT, and how does it capture the spirit of “SPACE FOR US” for you?
My perfect day at STACKT starts when I open the VBB shop and begin the morning with my daily
two cups of bone broth. I’ll take a walk around or sit out on the patio while the market is just
waking up – watching vendors set up and people start to wander through, usually with their
puppies.
Then I return to the shop to connect with customers, share broth, and plan our monthly
community collaborations and events. Throughout the day I also coordinate our frozen broth
deliveries (online store), making sure everything is set for our evening driver.
I’ll take another walk around STACKT to explore new activations, events or local markets and
support other small businesses while grabbing lunch for the day.
When I can, I’ll take a short break to visit my neighbour Haydn’s for an açaí bowl!
The day reflects the spirit of “SPACE FOR US” because STACKT isn’t just a place to shop — it’s a
platform where creators, small businesses, and local entrepreneurs come together to share their
unique gifts, skills, and creativity with the community.
