Building on the themes explored in the exhibition, this discussion invites participating artists to share insights into their creative practices, influences, and the personal and cultural experiences that shape their work.
Centered on ideas of identity, connection, and belonging, ROOTED explores how artists remain grounded in community while continuing to grow and evolve. Moderated by award winning Toronto Based curator, Anthony Gebrehiwot, in an open, conversational format, the talk offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from the artists, gain deeper context behind the work on view, and engage in meaningful dialogue. Audience members will also have the chance to ask questions and reflect on the themes presented throughout the exhibition.
